Celebrating Women in Construction Week, International Women's Day, and Women’s History Month
This year, Women in Construction Week takes place from March 2 through International Women’s Day on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
To recognize these occasions, we invite IBEW members in Canada to submit photos that celebrate the accomplishments, resilience, and diversity of our IBEW Sisters.
ELIGIBILITY: The contest is open to all active and retired IBEW Canada members, men and women alike.
REQUIREMENTS: Photos must have a “Women in IBEW Canada” theme, with IBEW members at work engaged in a union-related activity or featuring subjects conveying images of the industries we represent.
DEADLINE: Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. PST. *Deadline Extended to Friday, March 14, 2025 @ 11:59 pm PT*

SELECTION: Up to ten (10) finalists will be selected for final judging by a diverse panel of judges. The judges will evaluate the submissions based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and visual impact. The finalists and winners will be featured on the IBEW Canada website and social media platforms.
PRIZES: All ten (10) finalists will be awarded with a clothing item from Milwaukee’s apparel line – including their newly launched Women’s Workwear. The top three (3) entries will receive an upgraded apparel item*
*Final prizes will be determined based on size and stock availability. Winners will be contacted to determine availability items based on sizes and styles.
