IBEW System Council No. 11 and Canadian Pacific Railway are pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative three-year deal.<\/p>\n
IBEW Senior General Chairman Steve Martin expressed that negotiations were difficult but in the end we have reached a good deal for our membership and we\u2019re looking forward to building on the momentum of the last few days.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe IBEW would also like to recognize Minister of Employent, Workforce Development and Labour, Patty Hajdu, and Federal Mediator, Peter Simpson from FMCS, for coming to Calgary and working with all sides in order to find a fair deal\u201d said Martin.<\/p>\n
CP CEO Keith Creel thanked the IBEW bargaining committee for their hard work and their creativity. \u201cWe have come through a number of challenging years to become an operational leader. I look forward to working with this union to become the employer of choice.\u201d<\/p>\n
